Andre K. Jefferson was born in Compton, CA and is a graduate of Xavier College.  After college, Andre trained extensively with Stella Adler. He is a gifted actor, writer and director. Andre is also a talented rapper, singer and spoken word poet.

 

A prolific independent filmmaker, Andrew has starred, written, produced and directed over 15 independent feature films, each plotline as original and interesting  and entertaining as the actor himself. 

 

On television, Andrew has appeared on prestige shows such as MGM+'s BOSCH: START OF WATCH, Hulu's UNPRISIONED, NBC's NEW AMESTERDAM, and a powerful Guest Star on Netflix's ON MY BLOCK, among others.

In addition to acting and filmmaking, Andre is an accomplished children's author of THE BIG KID BOOK, inspired by his relationship with his son. 

 

He is based in LA and a US Citizen.
