Chanel Minnifield started acting at the age of 14, studying the Meisner Technique at the New York Film Academy and later at Playhouse West. Among others, she studied under master teachers Jeff Goldlum, Robert Carnegie, and Holly Gangier. As a teen, Chanel steadily worked in National Commercials for brands such as PAPA JOHN'S and AT&T before segwaying into network television and feature film roles. Chanel has worked opposite Gina Rodriquez, Snoop Dogg, Deion Sanders, and Serina Williams among others. Her Television credits include JANE THE VIRGIN and GENERAL HOSPITAL. Chanel most recently stars in the independent feature EXPOSURE, a psychological thriller directed by Peter Cannon, playing the role of "Lily", an upbeat, positive, ray of light surrounded by darker souls.
In addition to acting, Chanel is a talented chef & host, and is the star of YES! THAT'S VEGAN, a wildly popular Vegan Millennial Cooking show streaming on the TASTE ON TV Network.
Chanel is a natural athlete, being the daughter to NFL Hall of Famer Frank Minnifield. She is a highly skilled equestrian, gymnast, golfer & cheerleader. Chanel competed as a Jr. Olympic Gymnast, ranking top 10 in the Vault and also the Floor exercises. She ranked as an All-Star in Cheer, making the national team NCA; She regularly competed on the equestrian circuit in upper levels (3-day eventing), and as a collegiate golfer for The University of Louisville in KY.
Outside of acting, Chanel actively volunteers with Equine Therapy programs, and participates in charitable endeavors to expose under-privileged children to sports such as Equestrian, Golf, Swimming and Diving, and more.
