Jeremy Edwards

Jeremy Edwards is a much beloved British actor, writer, and host and television presenter for the BBC.  

 

His memorable and prolific body of work began as leading man Kurt Bentson on HOLLYOAKS, reprising the role again on HOLLYOAKS LATER. He next starred in HOLBY CITY,  where he won critical acclaim for his portrayal of protagonist Danny Shaughnessy, and was nominated for Best Newcomer at the National TV Awards.  In addition to his dramatic work for the BBC, he made a splash on the silver screen with lead roles in hit features like CORONATION STREET: A KNIGHT'S TALE, as well as FLIRTING WITH FLAMENCO, where he was able to stretch into more character and comedic roles, in contrast to his dramatic telelvision performances.

 

Jeremy is no stranger to the stage and live performance.  Among his noteworthy live performances,  he starred with Jared Harris in LES LIAISONS DANGEREUSE at The West End's famed Playhouse Theatre directed by Tim Fywell. His special appearance for the benefit of COMIC RELIEF on LITTLE BRITIAN LIVE alongside Kate Moss and and Russell Brand kept audiences in stiches, and his appearances on alternative television programs like DANCING ON ICE, CELEBRITY MASTERCHEF, and HELL'S KITCHEN: CELEBRITY EDITION let fans see a different and more personal side of him. 

 

Jeremy is currently on air as the lead on Britian's number one television series family comedy MILLIE INBETWEEN, which delights children and adults alike.
