Shannon Reynosa’s feature work includes DOLEMITE IS MY NAME opposite Eddie Murphy, directed by Craig Brewer. She also plays a recovering heroine addict coming to terms with her boyfriend’s death in the short indie film, SPOONFUL, directed by Konstantin Vlas, which was accepted into the Playbutton Short Film Festival in India.  

 

In television, Shannon will next be seen as a Recurring Guest Star role of "Michelle Wheeler" on Ava DuVernay's QUEEN SUGAR airing on OWN.  Other credits include ABC’s SPEECHLESS, Season 2, opposite Cedric Yarbrough, directed by Jay Chandrasekhar. She plays a Guest Star role as a hilariously over sexed housewife in DOUBLE DATE, a show for AmaseVR, shot in virtual reality.  You can also catch Shannon in commercials for Ford and LG.

 

On stage, Shannon most recently starred in an all female cast of Shakespeare’s MACBETH playing the character "Malcolm" at the 11:11 Theater in West Hollywood. 

 

Shannon graduated from a two year Meisner program at the Baron Brown Studio. She has also studied improv at the Groundlings and comedy with Lesly Kahn.
